Also I ate a yogurt

I did moar yoga today. I do not feel quite so painful. Down dog is still hardest. I am following the YouTube channel YOGA WITH ADRIENNE which is good except apparently I have to ground into the earth and channel energies and check in with my neck and other things that sound impossible. At one point she goes "try to grow the stretch, EVEN IF JUST ENERGETICALLY." EMPHASIS MINE. I think maybe she means just imagine I did it better than I did. Maybe. Hopefully.
Anyway, what I do like is that like snooker it is all about the ANGLES. Everything is at right angles to something it is very neat. ENERGETICALLY, AT LEAST. NOT LITERALLY. If someone had said twenty years ago "you'd like yoga, it's basically just right angles like snooker" I would have been all over it.
"Tuck your pelvis in." MY PELVIS DOESN'T MOVE. THAT'S WHY I'M DOING YOGA, COS MY PELVIS DOESN'T MOVE. WHAT AM I, SHAKIRA?

Date: 2017-04-09 04:05 pm (UTC)There is proper science that says that imagining you are doing exercise is not better for you than exercise but is better for you than nothing. So probably IMAGINING your stretch was growing is worthwhile.
