Human Food Consumption

I ate foods:
Salsa Verde Chicken, Wheat Berry Broth
This was very nice but Pete's Perennial Portions Problem reared its head, as the recipe, stated to be for two, filled three bowls to maximum capicity.
Warming Mexican Tortilla Soup With Sour Cream
The tortilla things are put in the oven with some paprika in to get em nice and crunchy. This was a little spicy but not too much. I now know that a romano pepper is Very Large Pepper Indeed.
Warm, Lemony Lamb Tabbouleh
A couscousy type thing where bulgur wheat replaces the couscous. It was nice but to say it contained some of my favourite ingredients such as honey and ras el hanout, the end result lacked any distinctive character.
Ginger Tofu & Mushroom Yakisoba Noodles
This is a nice stir fry. Although I like tofu I've never used it myself before. Here you coat cubes of it in a mix of soy sauce and cornflour and shallow fry until crispy on the outside. The end result wasn't as soft as Fuji Hiro tofu, but it was fine. I continue to believe that people are unfair towards tofu. This also contained an ingredient called mirin, which is not a lady biting her lip while looking at a muscular fellow but is instead a fluid a bit like sake. I have become very blasé about putting stuff in my mouth that I have never heard of.
So overall no standouts but a decent batch.
